The soldier was on duty at the time of the incident. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the constable took this suicidal step after a long conversation and argument with his wife over phone.

Identification of deceased soldier Jitendra Kumar He was a resident of Munger district and was posted under Dhamdaha police station area of Purnia.
There was an argument on the phone: It is being told that while on duty on Thursday, Jitendra had talked to his wife on mobile for a long time. According to eyewitnesses and colleagues, he looked tense during the conversation.
