After this, fill an earthen or copper pot with pure water, place Ashoka pallava of mango on it and place a coconut on top. Light the unbroken flame near the Kalash, recite Durga Saptashati or chant the prescribed mantras and finally complete the puja by performing the Aarti of the Mother Goddess.
