SALDEF Executive Director Kiran Kaur Gill said, ‘We are deeply concerned by the Home Ministry’s decision to remove security in sensitive areas and target religious places like Gurudwaras.’
Kiran Kaur Gill further said that Gurudwaras are not just places of worship, they are important community centers that provide support, nourishment and spiritual solace to Sikhs and the wider community.
“Targeting these places for action threatens the sanctity of our faith and sends a disturbing message to immigrant communities across the country,” he said.
