Kabaddi player Bittu Baliyal died of a heart attack during a Kabaddi tournament held in Rupalheri village of Fatehgarh Sahib. This incident happened on the playground. Due to which there is a wave of mourning in the sports world.
According to reports, Bittu Baliyal had entered the field to raid during the match, when suddenly his condition deteriorated. Fellow players and management immediately took him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. It was told that he had suffered a heart attack on the field itself.
Three stents left after surgery
Bittu Baliyal had undergone surgery to insert three stents in his heart and was unwell for some time. Recently he has returned to Kabaddi after recovering. His parents and elder brother had already passed away. Due to this he became mentally and physically weak.

Bittu Baliyal was originally a resident of Baliyal village of Bhawanigarh in Sangrur district. He was known for his sporting skills and had performed well for his team in many tournaments in Punjab.
