RRB ALP Recruitment 2026: Bumper recruitment for 11,127 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot in Railways, 10th and ITI pass should apply immediately!

The last date for filling the form under this ALP Recruitment 2026 issued by the Railway Recruitment Board has been fixed as 14 June 2026.

How many posts will be reinstated in total? Know important dates

This time the Railway Recruitment Board has announced the total recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot. 11,127 posts But appointments have been made. The main dates and rules related to recruitment are as follows:

  • Last date of application: 14 June 2026

  • Last date for submission of application fee: 16 June 2026

  • Application Form Correction Window: If any mistake is made while filling the form, candidates will be able to make corrections in their application from June 17 to June 26, 2026.

  • Admit Card and Exam: Railways has not announced the dates of ALP Recruitment Test (CBT) at present, but as per the rules, the official admit cards will be issued just 4 days before the date of commencement of the examination.

Who can apply? Know the required educational qualification

To appear in RRB ALP Recruitment 2026, candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

  • Candidate must have passed any recognized board. 10th (Matriculation) pass and also in related trade ITI Must have a certificate.

  • Or, along with 10th pass, the candidate should have degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automobile Engineering. 3 year diploma must have.

  • Also, in engineering stream BE or B.Tech Candidates who have obtained degree are also fully eligible for this post.

There will be huge relaxation in age limit

Minimum age of candidates applying for this recruitment 18 years and maximum age 30 years Has been decided. However, as per government rules, special relaxation in upper age limit will be given to reserved category candidates; Under which OBC category candidates will get 3 years relaxation and SC/ST category candidates will get 5 years relaxation in the maximum age.

Know what is the selection process

To be finally selected for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, candidates have to go through three main stages:

1.Computer Based Test-1 (CBT-1):Step 1.

All applicants must first clear the Preliminary Computer Based Test (CBT-1), which is a screening test only.

2.Computer Based Test-2 (CBT-2):Step 2.

Candidates shortlisted in CBT-1 will be called for the Main Examination (CBT-2) on the basis of which merit is decided.

3.Document Verification (DV) and Medical Test:step 3.

Candidates who are successful in both the written examinations will be considered eligible for the final stage of Document Verification and stringent Railway Medical Test (A-1 Category).

Starting Salary: The selected candidates who have made it to the final merit list will initially be paid as per Pay Matrix Level-2. ₹19,900 per month Basic salary and other government allowances will be given.
