1. Latest Mayor Seat Trends

Rita Chaurasia (BJP supported): close to 2350 votes Moving ahead. He has strong support from BJP.

Ravi Raut: Running in second place.

Nagendra: Remain in third place.

2. First Result of Madhupur Municipal Council

The first official result has come out from Madhupur Municipal Council in Deoghar district:

Ward No. 5: from here Ataullah Khan Has been declared victorious by a margin of 171 votes. He got a total of 412 votes.

President Post (Madhupur): Darkasha Parveen is leading with 3059 votes, while Anu Kumari is at second place.

3. Mathematics of counting (Counting Setup)

Total Ward: 36

Counting Centre: District Rifle Shooting Bhawan, Deoghar College.

Table and Round: A total of 36 tables have been set up and votes are being counted. 5 Rounds Expected to be completed in.

Security: Tight security arrangements have been made at the counting venue and District Election Officer Naman Priyesh Lakra himself is monitoring the process.

In the initial rounds, independents and local stalwarts have taken lead in many wards. In the urban areas of Deoghar, voters had made development and civic amenities (roads, water, electricity) the main issues.

Along with Deoghar, counting of votes is also going on in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh and Giridih. The results of many wards in Hazaribagh have come, where women had participated enthusiastically in voting.
