The Meteorological Department has issued a very important and big warning for the people facing the scorching heat and scorching sun in Jharkhand. The weather patterns are going to change completely suddenly in a large part of the state. Meteorological Center (IMD) has issued a yellow alert of heavy rain and strong thunderstorm in 11 districts of Jharkhand including Ranchi and Gumla today. During this time, there is a great fear of lightning or thunderbolt along with loud thunder, due to which people have been instructed to be extremely careful.
Danger of celestial disaster is looming over these 11 districts
According to the report of the Meteorological Department, the effect of this seasonal change will be seen mainly in the central and southern parts of Jharkhand. The 11 districts for which yellow alert has been issued include the capital Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Lohardaga, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega. There is a possibility of dense dark clouds appearing suddenly in these areas after noon, after which the weather will change in some time and a period of heavy rains with strong winds may begin.
Winds will blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km, warning of thunderstorms
Meteorologists have warned that during this period, dust storms and strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. According to the weather centre, this pre-monsoon activity has suddenly intensified due to low air pressure and moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal. The biggest danger has been expressed regarding lightning. The administration and the weather department have made a special appeal to the people of rural areas that when there is lightning in the sky, they should avoid going under trees or in open fields and also tie their cattle to safe places.
There will be relief from scorching heat, mercury will fall
However, amidst this rainy season, there is also a relief news that people who have been suffering from heat wave and scorching heat for the last several days will see a huge drop in the temperature after this rain. Due to cold winds, the heat present in the atmosphere will reduce and the day and night mercury can be reduced by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, due to which people will feel ‘cool’ to a great extent. The Meteorological Department says that such intermittent rains and storms may continue in different parts of the state for the next two to three days.
