Railways’ big relief to those going home on Diwali-Chhath, 52 new special trains will run

For Diwali and Chhath Puja, all the seats are filled months in advance and lakhs of people are worried about going home. In view of the huge rush of passengers, Railways has issued restrictions for passengers going to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal. 52 puja special trains Has announced to run. These trains will run from big stations like Delhi and Jhansi, which will directly benefit lakhs of people traveling on these routes.

Where will these trains run?

North Central Railway has released the schedule of these special trains. These trains will be run mainly on those routes which are most crowded.

• From Delhi, Kanpur and Jhansi: These trains will operate openly from Delhi, Kanpur and Jhansi. Lucknow, Banaras (Varanasi), Gorakhpur, Chapra, Patna, Gaya, Howrah And will reach other big stations of Bihar-Bengal.
• Relief on Mumbai route also: Some trains will also reach Mumbai’s Lokmanya Tilak Terminus via Jhansi, which will provide convenience to passengers on that route.

Information about some special trains:

Railways has also released numbers of some trains. For example, Anand Vihar (Delhi)-Lucknow Special Train (04494/04493) Will run on 18th and 21st October. Similarly, Anand Vihar-Gorakhpur Humsafar Special (02572) Will also be run. Railways is gradually sharing the complete time-table and booking information of all trains.
