Punjab National Bank celebrated its 132nd birthday, enthusiasm gathered in Lucknow zonal office:

Punjab National Bank celebrated its 132nd Foundation Day today on 12.04.2026. Foundation Day was celebrated with grandeur, joy and enthusiasm at the zonal office of PNB, located in Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. In this function, Deputy Zonal Manager of Lucknow Zone Mr. S.A. Huh. Kazmi, Divisional Head-Lucknow Mr. Sujit Kumar Negi and all the senior officers of the circle/division, other staff members and retired staff members were present.

In the ceremony, first of all, gratitude was expressed towards the founder of PNB, Punjab Kesari Lala Lajpat Rai by offering flowers and floral tributes to him. While congratulating everyone on the Foundation Day, Deputy Zonal Manager Mr. Kazmi said that the Bank organized various programs like special decoration of all the branches on the Foundation Day, throughout the week from 05th April to 12th April, blood donation/health awareness camp/medical checkup camp for the employees and customers in the divisions, digital/financial literacy programs to the customers/common people in the branches, tree plantation program and special customer meetings were organized in the branches to redress the complaints of the customers. Information about various schemes of the Bank was given. The bank’s corporate film was also shown on this occasion.

Further Shri Negi, Divisional Head, Lucknow informed that on 05.04.2026, a marathon was organized by the Head Office on the theme “Run with Soldier & Raj for Soldier” in which a large number of runners and staff members from across the country participated. On this occasion, the staff members of the Bank provided information to the general public/customers in the branches/offices about protection and prevention from cyber crime/fraud.

While offering floral tribute to the statue of Lala Lajpat Raiji, Deputy Zonal Manager Shri S.A. Huh. Kazmi, Divisional Head, Lucknow Shri Sujit Kumar Negi along with other senior officers and staff members.
