News India Live, Digital Desk: The Delhi High Court has recently given an important verdict reducing the sentence of a criminal serving a sentence in a POCSO case. The court has reduced the remaining sentence of the convict considering the improvements made by him in jail, the essays written by him and his academic progress.

What was the whole matter?

This case dates back to the year 2017, where a man was convicted on charges of molestation and sexual exploitation of a minor. The lower court had given him harsh punishment. The convict approached the Delhi High Court against this decision, where he pleaded for reduction of his sentence.
