News India Live, Digital Desk: The discourses of Shri Premanand Maharaj Ji on the sacred land of Vrindavan are the source of knowledge and peace for millions of devotees. In his satsang, devotees often ask such intense questions, which Maharaj ji answers very easily and deeply. Recently, a devotee asked Maharaj ji the important question, which often distracts spiritual seekers: “Maharaj ji, when is a human being free from the painful cycle of wandering these 84 lakh vagrants?”
In response to this serious question, Shri Premanand Maharaj Ji explained that this cycle of traffic stops only from doing true hymns and selfless service to Hari. He laid special emphasis on the fact that external ritual bhajan or service is not enough; It is very important to have pure ’emotion’ behind it. Maharaj Ji told that if a devotee chants the name of God with a pure heart or gives a glass of water to a saint with full devotion and love, then that is the true ’emotion’.
Maharaj Ji said that a hymn or service performed without ’emotion’ is only physical activity. It does not get freedom, because it is important to join the mind and soul. When the conscience of the seeker (the collective form of mind and intellect) is completely absorbed in the service of the Lord and his devotees, when he does not desire a fruit, then he gets rid of the painful cycle of movement of this 84 lakh yonies. He insisted, “To forget, don’t leave the love from Hari.”
Maharaj Ji gave the example of devotees Dhruva and Prahlada. He explained that these devotees did not have to take many births, because their ’emotion’ was pure and undisputed. If the true desire to attain God in the mind of man awakens and he is completely devoted to the will of God, then God makes him his servant and resides in his abode. As long as there is a lack of ’emotion’, the soul keeps wandering in this cycle of birth and death. This is the ultimate secret of union and salvation with God.
