Mantu Singh, who has won elections on BJP ticket twice in a row in 2015 and 2020, is a part of the Nitish Kumar cabinet this time and his claim is considered very strong. The people of Bihar know very well who he works for and what is his agenda.” Mantu Singh gave a direct challenge to Prashant Kishore and said, “If he has so much courage, then this time he should come to the ground of Amanour and see for himself, the public will tell him his reality.”
Nitish Kumar and BJP’s support is the biggest strength
Mantu Singh said that RJD has no support base left in this area and Prashant Kishore only works to cut votes. He claimed, “Our biggest strength is the development of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the name of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The public will vote in the name of development and will not be misled.”
Amanour’s electoral mathematics
Amanour assembly constituency has traditionally been a stronghold of the NDA, especially because it has a strong influence of Rajput voters, who are considered to be the main vote bank of Mantu Singh. However, Prashant Kishor also comes from this community, so he may try to break into this vote bank. At the same time, RJD is working on a strategy to give a tough competition to NDA with its traditional equation of Yadav and Muslim voters.
