Politics heated in America: Indian -origin candidate warns Netanyahu to arrest, Trump threatens to stop funds

India News Live, Digital Desk: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting the US these days and recently dinner with former US President Donald Trump at the White House. Meanwhile, a political storm woke up when Johran Mamdani, an American leader of Indian -origin and New York Mayor, threatened to arrest Netanyahu. Trump also reacted sharply to Joharan Mamdani’s statement. He said that if Mamdani did not change his attitude, then funding from the White House will be banned. Trump targeted Mammadani, saying, “He is not a socialist but a communist, and he has made many controversial statements against the Jewish community.” Trump also added that even though Mamdani becomes the mayor of New York, he will eventually have to look at the White House, as the fund comes from that. He warned that he may have to pay the price of misbehavior. It is noteworthy that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu. Regarding this, Johran Mamdani had said that if Netanyahu comes to New York, he will be arrested. Mammadani is from the Democratic Party of America and is contesting for the post of Mayor of New York. This is not the first time that there is a war between Trump and Mamdani. Even before this, Trump had said things like arresting him and snatching his citizenship. Mamdani retaliated and said that he is not afraid of these threats.
