Prime Minister Modi, while talking to Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday (2 March 2026), emphasized on regional peace and safety of citizens.

PM Modi’s strong message to Netanyahu: “Violence should stop immediately”

While sharing the details of this conversation on social media (X), Prime Minister Modi said that:

Appeal for peace: India has appealed for an immediate stop to the war (Early Cessation of Hostilities) and to return to the path of dialogue.

Protection of citizens: PM Modi made it clear that in the midst of war, the safety of life and property of innocent civilians should be the top priority.

Concerns of Indians: The PM prominently raised the issue of security of about 40,000 Indians living in Israel and lakhs of migrants from the Gulf region.

High-level meeting of CCS: Great brainstorming on security in Delhi

Prime Minister in Delhi as soon as he returned from the tour of Rajasthan and Gujarat Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) Called an emergency meeting. In this meeting Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and NSA Ajit Doval attended.

He expressed his gratitude to the President for taking care of the Indian community living in the UAE and assured India’s cooperation in bringing stability to the region.
