Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM and Jan Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan recently made a statement about Tamil films being dubbed in Hindi, which increased the controversy. Now giving clarification, he said that his point has been presented incorrectly and he has never been opposed to Hindi language.
Reacting to the social media platform X on Saturday, he also clarified his position on the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP-2020).
“I am not against Hindi language, but it is not right to impose it” – Pawan Kalyan
Pawan Kalyan wrote while clarifying his statement:
“Our party is fully supportive of linguistic freedom and democratic values. Every Indian has the right to get education in the language of his choice. Forcibly imposing a language or blinding a language, both are not right for our national and cultural unity. ”
he adds:
“I never opposed the Hindi language. I only opposed making it mandatory for everyone. When ‘NEP-2020’ (NEP-2020) does not compulsorily apply Hindi itself, making wrong statements about it is nothing but confusing the public. ”
What did Tamil films say about dubbing in Hindi?
In the first statement, Pawan Kalyan questioned the Tamil Nadu leaders adopting anti -Hindi stance.
He said:
“I don’t understand why some people oppose Sanskrit? Tamil Nadu politicians oppose Hindi, but do not refrain from dubbing their films in Hindi, because it gives them money. They want to earn from Bollywood, but do not accept Hindi, what is this thinking? ”
Political dispute increased, Tamil leaders protested
Many Tamil Nadu leaders and organizations reacted strongly to this statement of Pawan Kalyan.
