They also tried to blow up the train with rockets. It was fortunate that Jafar Express narrowly escaped this attack. There were no casualties in this attack. This is the eighth attack on Jafar Express in 2025, which has spread panic among the people.

What actually happened?

According to the information received, Jafar Express was passing through Nasirabad district of Balochistan. Meanwhile, suddenly there was a big explosion on the railway track. But there was no loss of life or property due to this. According to media reports, the attackers had planted a bomb on the railway track in Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bulo area, but the explosion occurred before the train could pass through it. Due to this, the lives of the passengers of Jafar Express were narrowly saved.

As soon as information about this incident was received, there was a huge uproar. Many senior officers reached the spot. At present, a thorough investigation of the incident is going on to find out the cause of the bomb blast. But this has caused great panic among the people. According to the information received, it is also being said that an attempt was made to blow up the train with a rocket.

Who took responsibility for the attack?

According to information provided by investigating authorities, the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for the attack. Baloch nationalist leader Mir Yaq Baloch had given this statement to the media.

Previous attacks on Jafar Express

Jafar Express is being continuously targeted. This is the eighth attack and before 7th October The attack took place between Quetta and Peshawar. Earlier on August 7, there was an attack near Sibi Railway Station and even before that on August 4, there was an attack near Kolpur. Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has taken responsibility for these attacks. On June 18, 2025, a remote controlled blast was also carried out near Jacobabad.

On October 29, an attempt was made to blow up Jafar Express in Notal area of ​​Nasirabad district. Apart from this, BLA also hijacked Jafar Express in March 2025 , 400 passengers were taken hostage in this hijacking. Baloch Liberation Army militants had hijacked the train by placing explosives on the tracks in Piru, Kunri and Guldar areas of Bolan area. Jafar Express runs between Peshawar and Quetta.
