Keshav Prasad Maurya ji today participated as the chief guest in the grand “Meritorious Students Award Ceremony 2026” organized at ‘Mars Hall’ of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Gomti Nagar. In this dignified program, talented students of Secondary, Basic and Sanskrit Education Board were honored by presenting them scooters, medals and citations for their excellent success.
Shri Maurya said that there have been revolutionary changes in the education system of the state under the double engine government led by respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath. Patting the education department, he said that today successfully completing the high school and intermediate examinations in just 15 working days and declaring the transparent examination results at the same speed is a historic and commendable achievement of the department.
In his address, the Deputy Chief Minister remembered former Chief Minister Late Kalyan Singh and said that he had given Uttar Pradesh a strong model of ‘copy-free examination’. Today, his grandson and Minister of State (Independent Charge) Shri Sandeep Singh is handling the same legacy and responsibilities of the Education Department with full devotion. He praised the pairing of Cabinet Minister Smt. Gulab Devi ji and Mr. Sandeep Singh and said that together they have taken the secondary and basic education system of the state forward in a very better and smooth manner.
