Pakistan felt irritated by the friendship between India and Taliban, people cried in UN after hearing the name of Kashmir!

Pakistan is not liking the growing friendship and cooperation between India and the Taliban government of Afghanistan. As soon as in a recent joint statement of both the countries Jammu and Kashmir When this was mentioned, there was an uproar in Pakistan and it immediately expressed its objection, calling it a “blatant violation” of the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

This whole matter came to light after the recent visit of the Afghan Foreign Minister to India, which shows that Taliban is now coming out of the shadow of Pakistan and strengthening its relations with India directly.

What made Pakistan angry?

In fact, a joint statement was issued after talks between India and the Taliban government of Afghanistan. This statement talked about regional security, fighting terrorism and increasing mutual cooperation, in which peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir was also mentioned.

Pakistan became enraged on just this matter.

Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying, “Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized ‘disputed territory’. Any discussion or statement regarding this region between India and any third party is a flagrant violation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.”

In simple words, Pakistan says that India and Afghanistan cannot together talk on Kashmir as if it is only a part of India.

Why is this a big blow for Pakistan?

This panic of Pakistan is not just about Kashmir, but there are deep diplomatic reasons behind it:

1. Taliban coming closer to India: Pakistan has always considered Taliban as its ‘close’ and presented itself as a ‘gateway’ for talks with the world. But now the Taliban government is building direct relations with India, which is isolating Pakistan diplomatically.
2. Afghan Foreign Minister’s visit to Deoband: It is also worth noting that the Afghan Foreign Minister, during his visit to India, preferred to go directly to Darul Uloom Deoband instead of Delhi. This was a clear indication of building deeper cultural and religious ties with India, which further troubled Pakistan.
