In the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), India has once again exposed Pakistan’s hypocrisy to the world. This time, New Delhi has shown Pakistan such a mirror on the issue of terrorism, which it will not be able to hide even if it wants to, to Pakistan, forced by its habit of spewing venom against India on global forums. This is the second time within the last two days that India has taken out Pakistan’s arrogance.
During an open debate held at the UNSC on the topic ‘Upholding the Principles of the UN Charter’, India’s Permanent Ambassador Parvathneni Harish completely exposed Pakistan. Ambassador Harish issued a stern warning to the international community saying that if Pakistan does not desist from its actions, it will have to pay a very heavy price for promoting cross-border terrorism against India.
Those who support terrorism will have to face serious consequences: Ambassador Harish
Indian Ambassador Parvathneni Harish left no stone unturned to expose the real face of Pakistan from the UNSC platform. He said in clear and strong words that Pakistan should now accept the reality that the consequences of sponsoring cross-border terrorism are very serious.
He further said that since its coming into existence, Pakistan’s entire focus has been only on terrorism, extremism, violent fundamentalism and spreading anti-India propaganda. Even today, Pakistan is busy giving shelter to the evil forces who are a threat to the world, nurturing them and using them against India.
‘Bleeding India’ policy exposed in UN, slapped on hypocrisy
The Indian Ambassador also mentioned in front of the United Nations the infamous and nefarious doctrine of the Pakistan Army, which is called ‘Bleeding India by a Thousand Cuts’. India completely isolated Pakistan by bringing this policy on the global stage.
Ambassador Harish said that Pakistan has openly violated the global principles of sovereignty and peaceful co-existence by starting several wars against India, showing unnecessary aggression and continuously spreading terrorism. In such a situation, today Pakistan’s commitment to the United Nations (UN) Charter is completely hollow, ridiculous and its biggest hypocrisy. He reminded that independent India has faced Pakistan’s cross-border aggression from the very beginning and foiled its nefarious attempts to illegally occupy Indian territories. India also made it clear that it has the full and sovereign right to defend itself against this sponsored terrorism.
India’s befitting reply to China-Pakistan alliance on Kashmir and Ladakh
Just a day before this, India had also given a befitting reply to the juxtaposition of China and Pakistan on raising the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. In fact, after a meeting held between China and Pakistan in Beijing, a joint statement was issued in which, while raising the issue of Kashmir, it was said that this issue should be resolved according to the Charter of the United Nations.
On this, Randhir Jaiswal, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in New Delhi, while giving strict instructions to China and Pakistan, completely rejected his inappropriate statement. India bluntly said that Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh are, were and will always be integral and inseparable parts of India. No third country in the world has any right to comment on India’s internal affairs.
India’s strict action on CPEC, no compromise on sovereignty
With this sharp counterattack, India once again reiterated its old and strong objection regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs clarified that a large part of CPEC passes through India’s sovereign land i.e. Pakistan’s illegally occupied Kashmir (PoK). India will continue to strongly and strongly oppose any action by any country that violates its territorial integrity and seeks to legitimize Pakistan’s illegal and forcible occupation.
