News India Live, Digital Desk: We Biharis have been facing an old pain – we study here, but have to run to Bangalore, Pune or Delhi to get a job.” The second pain is that of our farmer brothers, who have been waiting for the smoke to come out of the chimneys of the sugar mills that have been closed for years. But, it seems that now this wait is about to end. Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar has made some such announcements regarding the economy and employment of the state, which have brought glow on the faces of both the youth and the farmers.

Let us understand in simple language what is the meaning of this announcement of CM and what effect it will have on your life.

1. Bihar’s own ‘Mega Tech City’

This is the biggest news for the Bihari youth working in the IT sector. CM Nitish Kumar has announced that a “Mega Tech City” Will be settled.
What does it mean?
Just like you see the Electronic City of Bangalore or Hi-Tech City of Hyderabad, something similar will now be built in Bihar also. Big software companies will be able to open their offices here.

  • Benefit: Software engineers and technical people who are leaving home and working outside will get a chance to work in their own state, near their families. This is the most effective way to stop ‘brain drain’.

2. Revival of Sugar Mills

The pride of Bihar was once the sugar mills here, which were closed with time. This has been a very emotional issue. The CM has clearly said that the government is serious about restarting the closed sugar mills.

  • Benefits to farmers: If the sugar mill in your area becomes operational, then the sugarcane farmers will get the right price for their crop immediately and they will not have to make rounds of middlemen. Besides, Ethanol production will also increase the income of farmers.

3. Network of new industries

The government has not stopped at just one area. Nitish Kumar said that according to the local needs in different districts of the state, new Industries Will be installed.
Emphasis is being laid on creating industrial clusters in the areas around Muzaffarpur, Begusarai and Patna. The government is giving concessions in land and electricity to businessmen so that they come to Bihar and set up factories.

Will the picture really change?

Critics may say that these are just promises, but the work that Bihar has done in the last few years in ethanol policy and textile policy cannot be denied. If the reopening of ‘Mega Tech Cities’ and ‘Sugar Mills’ becomes a reality, then no one can stop Bihar from becoming a developed state.

This is a signal for the youth to work on their skills, because in the coming times, there is going to be a flood of opportunities in your own home (Bihar)!
