News India Live, Digital Desk: A revolutionary news has come out from Bihar amid the ongoing shortage of LPG cylinders and long lines in many states of North India including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Dream project of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ‘Jeevika’ Didis will now prepare their own ‘Induction Plate’. The biggest special thing about this project is that two prestigious institutions of the country, IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhiwill provide technical support in developing this indigenous induction stove.

‘Smart’ solution to cylinder crisis

Recently, opposition leaders, especially Akhilesh Yadav, had cornered the government on the issue of ‘missing gas’ (LPG). In such a situation, the Bihar government has taken this step to provide permanent relief to the families of middle and low income group from this shortage.

Indigenous Technology: This induction stove manufactured by Jeevika Group will be completely ‘Made in Bihar’.

Affordable Price: Its price will be kept much lower than the expensive induction stoves available in the market, so that it can be accessible to every village.

‘Double power’ of IIT Mumbai and Delhi

Tech giants have joined hands to make this project a success:

Design and Efficiency: The experts of IIT Mumbai are preparing its circuit and design in such a way that it can cook food faster with less power consumption.

Sustainability: The team of IIT Delhi is working on its durability (strength) and safety standards, so that it can work for a long time even in rural environments.

Jeevika didis will get new ’employment’

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had recently emphasized on women empowerment during the Rs 810 crore schemes in Nalanda. This project is part of that series.

Manufacturing Hub: Small assembly units will be set up for Jeevika Didis in different districts of Bihar.

Training: Jeevika Didis will be given special training to assemble and repair induction plates in these units, which will create new employment opportunities for thousands of women.

Plan to connect with solar energy

There is also a preparation to connect this induction stove with solar panel in future. With this, women will be able to cook food without any expense even in rural areas where there is a problem of electricity. It will not only be pollution free but will also provide relief from wood and coal smoke.
