Prashant Kishor gave a direct challenge to Nitish Kumar and said, “I give you 6 months’ time. If you bring Bihar in the list of top 10 states of the country, then I am ready to roam around with your flag and will leave politics and retire forever.” PK said that if the person who has been the Chief Minister of Bihar for 18-19 years can do this work in 6 months, then no one can be a greater leader than him.
Serious questions raised on Nitish’s development model
PK raised questions on the long tenure of Nitish Kumar and said that despite being the Chief Minister for so many years, Bihar still remains the poorest and most backward state of the country. He sarcastically said, “How will the work which could not be done in so many years be done now? The people of Bihar will now have to focus on concrete results and not on empty promises.”

Along with this, Prashant Kishore also put an end to the speculations that he might leave Bihar. He made it clear, “I am not going anywhere. I will stay here in Bihar and work for the people here. I will not rest until I make Bihar a leading and developed state.” He said that he is committed to providing a permanent political alternative in Bihar.
