Delhi Capitals have suffered another major setback from BCCI with this defeat.
- BCCI has imposed a fine of Rs 12 lakh on Delhi captain Akshar Patel for being found guilty of slow over rate.
- This was the Delhi team’s first slow over rate violation of the season.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a press release:
- “Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel has been fined under Section 2.22 of the Code of Conduct of IPL.
- This was the first crime of the team’s season, so a fine of Rs 12 lakh was fixed. ”
Mumbai’s great victory
Mumbai Indians, batting first, scored 205 runs for 5 wickets.
- In response, Delhi’s team was reduced to 193 runs in 19 overs.
- At one time, Delhi’s score was 119 for 1 wicket in the 11th over, due to which the victory was almost fixed.
- But within the last 74 runs, the team lost 9 wickets, causing the match to be completely overturned.
Karun Nair’s innings was light, but could not win
- For Delhi, Karun Nair batted brilliantly and scored 89 runs in 40 balls.
