Monitoring started in District Education and Training Institute

Dehradun, May 29 (HS). Under the intensive monitoring program of DIETs at the state level for educational quality and academic ratification in the state, monitoring has started at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Dehradun on Wednesday. This monitoring work is being done under the guidance of a seven-member team of the State Institute of Educational Research and Training, Academic and Training Director Bandana Garbyal and SCERT Additional Director Ajay Kumar Nautiyal.

Under this, the infrastructure of DIETs, activities related to teacher education, status of human resources and its empowerment, academic calendar, physical and financial progress of the programs of Samagra Shiksha, budget sanctioned under the state sector and its use, progress of the work of Center of Excellence (subject), activities organized for D.El.Ed training and all-round development of trainees, implementation of annual action plan and budget 2024-25, editing and implementation of research and action research, status of monitoring of various types of programs started by DIET.

Best practices and innovations, other problems and challenges related to DIETs, Techno Fair, Kaushalam Program, Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Anandam Program, Abacus Program, FLN under Nipun Bharat Mission, In-service teacher training, ECCE, work done under DRG in various subjects etc. will be closely monitored.

Diet Dehradun Principal Rakesh Jugran shared the various activities and innovations going on in Diet with the monitoring team. Monitoring team leader Kanchan Devradi, Joint Director SCERT, while addressing the entire Diet faculty, said that Diets have an important role in enhancing the educational quality of the state. Diet is an important resource center of the district which trains teachers in educational innovations and new activities.

The monitoring team members include Joint Director Kanchan Devradi, Assistant Directors Dr. Krishnanand Bijalwan, Kailash Dangwal, Dr. Rakesh Chandra Gairola, Dr. Ranjan Kumar Bhatt, Shubhra Singhal and Suryakant Mamgain.
