News India Live, Digital Desk: Heavy rain: If you are planning to go to Jammu and Kashmir or live there, then this news is very important for you! The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a major warning for the next few days. Heavy rains and snowfall have been estimated in Jammu and Kashmir between October 5 to 7, causing difficulties in many areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, especially in the high mountainous areas, there will be tremendous snowfall, while the low -lying areas will receive heavy rains. This warning should not be taken lightly because in such a situation life is affected considerably.

The biggest concern is the safety of passengers on the National Highway. Heavy snowfall and continuous rains can disrupt roadways. Many important highways of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those who pass through high passes, can be closed. The risk of landslides (landslide) and stone fall (rockfall) also increases significantly, which can make traveling risky. In such a situation, it is advisable that people should avoid non-essential travel in these days and if you have to travel, then leave the house only after knowing the weather and road conditions. The administration will also be preparing to deal with these possible threats, but it is our own responsibility to take precaution.

Passengers urge them to follow all the advice issued by local authorities and traffic police for their safety.
