Material

  • 2 big cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups curd
  • salt to taste
  • One teaspoon cumin powder
  • One spoon coriander powder
  • 2 green chillies, chopped
  • Chopped coriander
  • Half a teaspoon cumin and mustard
  • A dry chili
  • One spoon gram flour
  • One tablespoon white urad dal

  • To make curd rice, first cook the rice. When the rice is cooked, take it out in a big cup and add one teaspoon of ghee to it and mix it well.
  • When the rice cools down, add two glasses of water and mash the rice and keep it aside.
  • Now in the next phase, take a big cup of yogurt in a big bowl and whisk it well.
  • After whipping the curd, mix salt, one teaspoon of cumin powder and one teaspoon coriander powder as per taste.
  • Now add a glass of water to the curd and mix well. Now add rice mashed in water in curd and mix the mixture well.
  • Now fry a spoonful of oil, one teaspoon gram dal, one teaspoon of urad dal, half a teaspoon of cumin and mustard seeds. When the lentils become brown, add peanuts, finely chopped green chillies and apply good tempering.
  • Now put this tempering curd in rice and fry it.
