Major Stir in Both Rival Shiv Sena Factions! Senior Leaders Vow to Bring Uddhav and Shinde Together. Big stir between the two opposing factions of Shiv Sena! Senior leaders clamor for bringing Uddhav and Shinde together

India News Live, Digital Desk : Maharashtra politics currently seems to be moving towards its biggest and unexpected U-turn. Now, voices for reunification have started becoming very loud from within the two bitterly opposed factions—Shiv Sena and Shiv Sena (UBT)—led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Very influential and senior leaders of both the groups have openly admitted that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is emerging as their common enemy, due to which the existence and survival of the original Shiv Sena is in danger. The leaders clearly say that now is the right time for both the groups to forget their mutual differences and unite, otherwise their political base will be completely destroyed on the lines of ‘big fish will eat small fish’.

BJP has become a big fish swallowing small fish – Ambadas Danve’s scathing attack

Prominent leader of Shiv Sena (UBT) and Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council, Ambadas Danve has made very serious allegations against the expansionist policy of alliance partner BJP. Giving an old example, he said that the BJP in power is behaving like a big fish which is constantly trying to swallow small fish i.e. regional parties and eliminate them. When Danve was asked a direct question whether the Uddhav and Shinde groups should really forget all the grudges and come together on one platform, he said without any hesitation that he personally felt the same on many important political fronts. However, he also added that such a big decision cannot be taken just on his wish alone, for this the top leadership from both the sides will have to take a big initiative.

Our elder brother is bent on destroying us, change is now very important – Abdul Sattar

The real explosion in the political circles happened when Abdul Sattar, a very powerful leader of the Eknath Shinde group and cabinet minister, also joined the voice of Ambadas Danve. Sattar openly targeted his own alliance partner BJP and said that this feeling of insecurity is not of any one group, but of Shiv Sainiks from both sides. He said in a very harsh tone that if our own ‘elder brother’ (BJP) is conspiring to destroy us politically, then such friendship and alliance have no meaning. Sattar used a painful metaphor referring to the political situation in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) district and said that BJP has already cut off the arms and legs of Shiv Sena (UBT), but now they are bent upon cutting off the head of the original Shiv Sena comprising Shinde faction in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, which cannot be tolerated.

If Shinde gives green signal, there will be no delay in uniting.

Abdul Sattar has given a very big and clear statement on the possibilities of merger or alliance of the two opposing factions. He said that if Chief Minister Eknath Shinde openly takes the stand that both the parties should come together to save the interest of Maharashtra and the ideas of Balasaheb Thackeray, then there will not be a moment’s delay in this historic reunification. Political analysts believe that it is clear from the statements of these senior leaders of both the factions that the leaders of the Shinde faction are feeling uncomfortable by being in alliance with the BJP. Now it remains to be seen whether after these statements, Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde start cooking some new political concoction behind the scenes or there is a new earthquake in the power of Maharashtra.
