Considering the seriousness of the situation, the Meteorological Department has issued ‘Orange Alert’ for many districts of Kerala. The administration has been warned that due to this excessive rain, there may be a risk of waterlogging in low-lying areas, rise in the water level of rivers and landslides in hilly areas.

The maximum temperature in Delhi today may drop to between 38°C to 40°C. There will be partly cloudy sky throughout the day.
