Lucky Ali apologized on Javed Akhtar’s Muslim statement, said – even demons can have feelings

News India Live, Digital Desk: These days, there is a debate going on in the world of Bollywood over a statement by veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, on which famous singer Lucky Ali also expressed his views and later gave clarification on it. Actually, Lucky Ali had earlier said something on Javed Akhtar’s comment about Muslim community in the context of Mumbai attacks, on which he has now apologized. Lucky Ali says that what he said was in a different context and his intention was not to hurt anyone’s sentiments.

The whole matter started when Javed Akhtar mentioned the Muslim community in one of his comments on the Mumbai attacks. In response to this statement, singer Lucky Ali had made a post on social media, in which he talked about ‘demons’ without taking names and said that “Monsters can also have emotions.” His statement started being linked to Javed Akhtar’s Muslim statement, which sparked a new debate.

Seeing the growing controversy, Lucky Ali has now given clarification on this entire matter and has also apologized. He said in his new post that his previous tweet was not related to Javed Akhtar or anyone else. He clarified that he respects Javed Akhtar a lot and his only aim was to show that it is wrong to call any person a ‘monster’ because they too can have emotions. He says that if his words have hurt anyone then he apologises. This statement created a lot of stir on social media and sensitivity was emphasized on such issues in the art world.
