NHAI Fastag Annual Pass: About two months ago, NHAI had launched an annual pass of Rs 3,000, giving a big relief to car owners. After the launch of this pass, car owners have got a lot of relief. By issuing a pass online for Rs 3,000 through the National Highway App, you can use the toll plaza for 200 trips or for a year. Now NHAI has announced that it will display monthly and annual pass information at toll plazas for national highway users.
All information will be visible at the time of entry and exit
The purpose of displaying this information is to increase transparency and make users aware. NHAI has directed its regional offices to display this information clearly and prominently at all toll plazas. After this, after crossing the toll, you will get information on the display about how many trips you have left and how long it is valid for. According to NHAI, information on monthly and annual passes will be displayed on signboards at the customer service area and entry/exit gates near the toll plaza.
Signboard installation orders within 30 days
These signboards will be in Hindi, English and local language. These boards should be clearly visible day and night. NHAI has ordered to install these boards within 30 days. For further dissemination of information related to Annual Pass, NHAI will also upload the same on ‘RajmargYatra’ mobile application and related project website. The ‘Local Monthly Pass’ is for people living within a radius of 20 kilometers of the toll plaza. This pass is for private cars.
Annual pass works at 150 toll plazas
To get ‘Local Monthly Pass’ you will have to provide your Aadhar card, vehicle registration certificate and address proof. The pass is issued after document verification at the toll plaza helpdesk. Additionally, the annual pass is for personal vehicles like cars, jeeps or vans. It is valid for one year or 200 toll plaza crossings. It is priced at Rs 3,000 and can be purchased through the Highway Travel app. After purchasing, the pass is digitally linked to the valid FASTag of the car. This pass works at around 1150 toll plazas across the country.
