If an investor fails to do so, in his name Land allotment will be canceled immediately And the land will be taken back.

This decision is a direct attack on the speculations and complaints that many investors just acquire government land at cheap rates but do not actually set up any industry, thereby slowing down the pace of development in the state.

Strict instructions given on development along the expressway

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued these important instructions during the review meeting of the works of UPEDA (Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority) on Wednesday. He stressed not only on investment but also on accelerating industrial development along the expressways which have become the lifeline of the state.

Other major instructions given in the meeting:

  1. Development of Industrial Clusters: CM Yogi said that the work of creating industrial clusters along the Ganga, Purvanchal, Bundelkhand and Gorakhpur Link Expressways should be expedited. The process of land acquisition should be simplified and expedited.
  2. Better Connectivity: It should be ensured that there is direct and good connectivity through expressways to reach these industrial clusters, so that there is no problem in freight transportation and movement.
  3. Enhance Features: For the convenience of passengers, a network of essential facilities like petrol pumps, electric vehicle charging stations, hotels, restaurants and trauma centers should be laid on the expressway. Instructions have been given to develop these facilities on Bundelkhand and Gorakhpur Link Expressway on priority basis.

The purpose of the decision is clear: “Less talk, more action”

The objective of these decisions of the Chief Minister is very clear – to make Uttar Pradesh a big industrial hub not just on paper, but in reality.
