Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya today reached the two-day Saras Mela organized in Kaushambi, where he strongly targeted the opposition and said that neither SP nor Congress has a chance of coming to power till 2047. Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today launched a scathing attack on the opposition and said that the opposition parties neither have any policy nor any vision of development. He said that the opposition is only doing negative politics and spreading confusion among the public.

Said in his address from the stage –

Negative Politics: The Deputy Chief Minister said that when the state is touching new heights of development, the opposition is trying to mislead the public by making baseless allegations.

Appeasement Policy: Taking aim, he said that the opposition has always given priority to the politics of appeasement instead of development, due to which the state remained lagging behind for years.

Double engine government’s resolution: Shri Maurya clarified that the ‘double engine’ government running under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is providing the benefits of welfare schemes to every section of the society without any discrimination.

Attack on corruption: He said that corruption was at its peak in the previous governments, whereas in today’s government, a transparent system is implemented under the policy of ‘zero tolerance’.
