News India Live, Digital Desk: Josaa Couteselling 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) has started the Josaa counseling 2025 process on 3 June 2025 today. Eligible candidates can register for admission in top engineering institutes from 10 am and start choice filling from the official website – josaa.nic.in. According to the official schedule, registration and choice filling window will remain open until June 12, 2025. Only they deserve to participate in counseling who qualified in JEE Main 2025 or JEE Advance 2025.
The seat allocation process will be in five rounds, After that the sixth and final round will be especially for admission to IITs. Additionally, a special round will be held for NIT+ system institutions after the conclusion of the standard josaa round. Candidates who pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) will be able to present their AAT-specific options from 8 June after the announcement of the results of AAT.
Based on the options filled by 8 June, Josaa will release the first mock seat allocation on 9 June. The second mock allocation will be shared on June 11 to help candidates assess their priorities and help them refine them. Students can then make changes by the deadline of June 12 and lock their final options. After confirming and matching the data, Josaa will announce the first round of seat allocation on 14 June.
