The unavailability of the aircraft has increased the concern of Iran’s Health Ministry, because the lives of thousands of patients waiting for these medicines in hospitals there are at risk.

Consignment stuck in India: Challenge of logistics and security

Presently this stock of 40 tonnes of medicines is kept in a secure logistics center in India. Experts say that Iran is now busy arranging another aircraft, but due to restrictions on flights in the war-torn region and security risks, no company is currently ready to fly on this route. Along with this, there are many technical difficulties regarding the transaction and shipping of these medicines under the shadow of American sanctions.
