Indy alliance wins all Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, BJP's vote percentage increases

New Delhi, June 04 (HS). In Tamil Nadu, the candidates of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) led Indi alliance have won all the 39 Lok Sabha seats of the state. According to the data of the Election Commission, the Indi alliance won 39 seats in Tamil Nadu, while the seat of Puducherry was also won by the Indi alliance. According to the Election Commission, DMK won 22 seats, Congress 9 seats, VCK 2 seats, CPI 2 seats, CPM 2 seats. At the same time, the vote percentage of BJP has increased. BJP got more than 10 percent votes in Tamil Nadu.

According to the Election Commission update, Karti Chidambaram has won the Tamil Nadu election results. DMK's Raja A defeated BJP's Dr. Murugan L from Nilgiri seat. Congress's Gopinath won in Krishnagiri. Congress's V Vithilingam won from Puducherry seat.

In the electoral battle of Coimbatore, Ganapathi Rajkumar of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) defeated K. Annamalai of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kanimozhi won in Thoothukudi, TR Balu in Sriperumbudur and Dayanidhi Maran in Central Chennai.

It is noteworthy that in this Lok Sabha election, a triangular contest was witnessed in this state. DMK and Congress party contested the election in alliance with India Alliance, BJP in NDA along with many regional parties and AIADMK contested separately.
