On the global stage, India has once again reprimanded neighboring country Pakistan in such a strong manner that the whole world kept watching. During a high-level debate of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Pakistan, as usual, without desisting from its nefarious activities, tried to raise the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. But the Indian officer present there gave such a befitting reply to this poison of Pakistan that the Pakistani representative started peeping nearby.
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Harish Parvatneni, bluntly advised Pakistan to look inside itself. India said in a very aggressive manner that a country whose own history is stained with the dark deeds of genocide and the blood of innocents, pointing fingers at India’s internal affairs is nothing more than a crude joke.
The raw story of the attack on the hospital in Afghanistan in March was revealed
Indian Ambassador Harish Parvatneni revealed to the United Nations the full story of Pakistan’s recent cruel and barbaric actions. He strongly raised the issue of air strikes carried out by Pakistan inside the border of Afghanistan in the month of March this year.
The Indian Ambassador roared on the global stage, saying, “The whole world knows very well and has not forgotten the fact that in March this year, when the holy month of Ramzan was going on and there was an atmosphere of peace and mercy all around, Pakistan carried out a very cowardly and barbaric air attack on ‘Omid De-addiction Treatment Hospital’ in Kabul. According to the official report of the United Nations Mission (UNAMA), 269 innocent civilians lost their lives in this horrific Pakistani attack and 122 people were seriously injured. This attack was carried out when people were coming out of the mosque after offering prayers. Pakistan always takes advantage of the darkness to target innocent citizens and then creates hypocrisy on international platforms.
The brutality of 1971 and the truth of ‘Operation Searchlight’ echoed on the UN platform.
The matter did not stop only with the recent attacks, India also brought alive in front of the world the dark history of atrocities committed by Pakistan’s army on its own citizens, which Pakistan always tries to hide.
The Indian Ambassador reminded the UNSC, “This is the same Pakistan which had launched ‘Operation Searchlight’ against its own people in 1971. During this bloody operation, the Pakistani Army had committed atrocities and rape against lakhs of women.” India said in a strong tone that the country which has been bombarding its own innocent people and which, in the intoxication of power, has mercilessly massacred millions of people, talks about human rights and international rules do not suit at all. Citing hard data, India also highlighted that more than 94,000 Afghan citizens have been rendered homeless and displaced due to recent Pakistani attacks and aggressive policies.
Pakistan resorts to terrorism to hide internal failures
India also exposed Pakistan’s old strategy before the United Nations Security Council, under which it diverts public attention from its domestic problems. India said that for the past several decades, Pakistan has been continuously resorting to terror, violence and false propaganda inside and outside its borders to divert the attention of its people from its deteriorating economy, political instability and internal failures.
Ambassador Harish Parvatneni used very strong words at the end of his address, saying, “The whole world has now understood very well the hollow rhetoric and anti-India agenda of a country which has neither any international trust left, nor any law nor any basic morality and now no one is going to listen to its words.”
