Blind cricket is a unique game. It uses a white plastic ball filled with ball bearings. When the ball spins, it makes a rattle-like sound that players can hear. The bowler has to ask the batsman if he is ready. Then he has to call “Play” while bowling.

Like normal cricket, blind cricket also has 11 players in each team. However, at least four players must be completely blind. To maintain fairness in the game, all players are blindfolded. The fielders clap once to indicate their position. Other players are partially blind. They are classified on the basis of their vision. This distance is two meters for B2 players and six meters for B3 players. Each team can have a maximum of eight B1 (totally blind) players. Each run scored by the B1 player is counted as a double.
