The anger of the crowd was so much that the man started running away to save his life.
While running, he reached a nearby canal. Seeing the noise coming from behind and the anger of the crowd, he could not find any way out and jumped into the water. He might have thought that perhaps he would be saved by jumping into the water, but fate had something else in store. The young man could not come out of the water again and died due to drowning.
