His comment came a few days after the Calcutta High Court’s decision, in which the court directed Shami to give him four lakh rupees every month in the divorce case.

Shami has maintained silence on this matter and is avoiding posting anything about his personal life on social media. Mohammed Shami is currently away from international cricket. He was not made part of the Test team on the tour of England. He was last seen playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025.
