If you dream of becoming a primary school teacher in Uttar Pradesh, then the biggest news of the year has come for you. The Office of the Examination Regulatory Authority has started the application process for admission to D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) course of Uttar Pradesh.
Let us tell you that D.El.Ed was earlier known as BTC (Basic Training Certificate). This is a two-year course, which is mandatory to become a primary teacher. The application process has started from 24th November and the last date for registration is 15th December 2025.

Who can apply? (Eligibility and Age Limit)
- Educational qualification: Candidate must be from any recognized university. Graduation at least in 50% marks It is mandatory to pass with.
- Relaxation for SC/ST: Minimum in Graduation for SC and ST category candidates 45% marks Should be.
- Age Limit: The minimum age of the applicant should not be more than 18 years and maximum age should not be more than 35 years. (Age will be calculated as on 1 July 2025). Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per rules.
