Talking about the age limit, your minimum age should be 20 years on 01 August 2025. The maximum age for general category male candidates is 37 years, while for women of general category it has been fixed at 40 years. Along with this, according to government rules, candidates of backward class, extremely backward class, Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) will also get maximum age relaxation in the age limit.
Selection Process: How to get the job of the inspector?
The selection of candidates for these posts of Bihar Police Sub-Inspector will be in many stages. In this, preliminary written exam will be first, after which the main written examination will be taken. After passing these examinations, there will be physical efficiency test (PET) and Physical Standards Testing (PST), in which the height, chest and race of candidates will be measured.
