25 percent increase in vehicle sales

According to the information, there was a 20 to 25 percent increase in the sales of cars and two-wheelers on Dhanteras. There was an increase of five to 12 percent during Dussehra. This sales figure may double on Diwali. On Dhanteras, car sales increased by 10 percent and two-wheeler sales increased by 15 percent.

Meanwhile, the industry organization said that on the day of Dhanteras, the sales of smartphones along with fridges, TVs, washing machines can increase by 20 to 30 percent.
