The Chairman of the Board will officially announce the results today at 5 pm through a press conference at the Board Headquarters in Porvorim. The long wait of 17,283 students who appeared in the examination this year is about to end. Students will be able to check their digital scorecard on the official website of the board immediately after the release of the result.
Where and how to check your scorecard?
After the release of Goa Board 12th result, students can visit the official website gbshse.gov.in And results.gbshsegoa.net You can see your results by going to. Students will need details like Seat Number, School Index and Date of Birth to check their result. In case of heavy traffic on the website, students can also get their results through SMS. For this, you have to type ‘GOA12 Seat Number’ on your mobile and send it to 56263.
Exams were held in February
This year the Goa Board 12th examinations were successfully conducted between 10th February to 27th February 2026. The general stream (Arts, Commerce and Science) examinations started from February 10, while the vocational stream examinations were held from February 11 to February 23. This year there has been a slight decline in the number of students compared to last year; In the year 2025, a total of 17,686 students appeared for the examination, whereas this time the number is 17,283.
Big update regarding marksheet and toppers list
Along with the announcement of the result, the board will also share the list of stream-wise toppers and pass percentage figures. Students should note that the scorecard available online today will be provisional. Original mark sheets and migration certificates will be distributed later through the respective schools. According to the board, schools will be able to download the ‘Consolidated Result Sheet’ through their official login portal from March 25, 2026.
How was your performance last time?
Last year i.e. in 2025, the performance of Goa Board was excellent and the overall pass percentage was recorded at 92.42%. In these, the performance of girl students (92.4%) was better than that of boys (88.69%). This year also it is expected that there may be an improvement in the pass percentage. Under the grading system of the board, students scoring above 90% marks will be given ‘A’ grade (Outstanding).
