• October 27 (Monday) – Chhath Puja: Banks will remain closed in Kolkata, Patna and Ranchi.
• October 28 (Tuesday) – Chhath Puja: Banks will remain closed in Patna and Ranchi.

(This means that banks in Bihar and Jharkhand will remain closed for 4 consecutive days, because before this there is a weekend holiday on October 25 (Saturday) and October 26 (Sunday).)

• 31 October (Friday) – Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Jayanti: Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad (Gujarat).
• November 1 (Saturday) – Kannada Rajyotsava/Igas Bagwal: Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Dehradun (Uttarakhand). Note, this is the first Saturday of the month, so banks will remain open throughout the rest of the country.
• November 2 (Sunday) – Weekly holiday: Banks will remain closed across the country.
