Hours before Prime Minister Modi reached Purnia and official announcement, Pappu Yadav tried to take credit for this entire project by putting a post on his social media account ‘X’ (first Twitter).
He wrote, “Purnia will fly! Air service will start from Purnia Airport today. Many congratulations to my family of Seemanchal and Kosi including Purnia! I am grateful to all of you for the strength you gave me to turn this dream into reality.”
“30 -year struggle victory”
Pappu Yadav, in his tweet, described it as the result of his 30 -year long struggle. His tweet was clearly an attempt to show that his hard work and dedication to convert this airport into reality and not any government.
This tweet has come at a time when the entire government department and BJP are engaged in making this program of the Prime Minister a success. This bet of Pappu Yadav has warmed the political atmosphere even before the BJP celebrations. It remains to be seen to whom Prime Minister Modi gives credit for this airport from the forum, but one thing is certain that today in Purnia, the airplane as well as politics is going to fly very high.
