News India Live, Digital Desk: There is a big and relief news for lakhs of “beloved sisters” of Madhya Pradesh. If you are also a beneficiary of ‘Ladli Behna Yojana’ and for some reason you have not been able to get your account e-KYC done yet, then now you do not need to panic. The government has once again extended the last date for getting e-KYC done.
Why did the date have to be extended and what is the new last date?
Actually, under ‘Ladli Brahmin Yojana’, an installment of Rs 1250 is sent to the accounts of women on the 10th of every month. But there are lakhs of women whose Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) is not active in their bank account or their account is not linked to Aadhaar card. To overcome this problem, the government has made e-KYC mandatory for everyone.
Earlier its last date was 15th November, but still many women have not been able to complete this process. Keeping this in view, the government has extended the last date of e-KYC by giving another chance to the sisters. Has been extended to 20th November.
Why is it important to get e-KYC done?
If you want the next installments of the scheme to keep coming into your account without any interruption, then it is very important to get e-KYC done. If your e-KYC is not completed, it is possible that your next installment may get stuck. With e-KYC it is ensured that the money is going to the correct beneficiary’s account and no irregularities are taking place.
How to get your e-KYC done?
It is very easy to get e-KYC done and you do not need to spend any money for it. It is completely free.
- You can get it done by visiting your nearest Public Service Center, CSC Center, MP Online Kiosk or any ration shop.
- For this you will have to take your Samagra ID card, Aadhar card and mobile number with you.
- There your biometrics (fingerprints) will be taken and your e-KYC process will be completed.
So don’t delay now! If your e-KYC is also pending, then definitely complete this important work before 20th November, so that you continue to get the benefits of ‘Ladli Brahmin Yojana’.
