Does Russia really want peace? In NATO meeting, US Secretary of State said, will soon be known

Washington: In recent times, America has suspected Putin’s intention. European countries suspect whether they really want a ceasefire. In such circumstances, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said at the conference of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels on Friday that Russia’s intentions regarding ceasefire and peace in Ukraine would not be known in months, but within a few weeks.

In this meeting, US European NATO colleagues said that Russia is postponing it despite the Trump administration telling Russia about the ceasefire.

They will immediately end the war in Ukraine. Trump won the election with similar election promises. So once again, Trump said that Putin is actually committed to peace.

In this context, Marco Rubio said in the NATO meeting that President Trump does not want to get caught in the trap of endless dialogue, even if it means to avoid them. We want to see if Russia really wants peace, which should be shown not in words but in actions.

Thus, despite doubts and apprehensions, Washington is continuing interaction with both sides.
