Do you need full marks in practical? Board has issued new guidelines, 12th students should not make this mistake even by mistake:

If you or your children are going to appear for CBSE 10th or 12th board exam this year, then this news is like an ‘alarm’ for you. The year 2025 is going to start not with celebration, but with testing.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made it clear that on the first day of the new year i.e. 1 January 2025 from 10th and 12th Practical Exams And internal assessments will start. This is the stage before the board exams which is the best opportunity to increase your marks in the final result.

Rules are different for 10th and 12th, understand carefully:

For class 12th (strictness is higher):
CBSE 12th students will have to take this very seriously. Not the school teacher to take your practical exam, but External Examiners Will come.

• Marking: As soon as your practical and viva is over, the examiner will upload the marks on the board’s website on the same day.
• Keep in mind: Once the marks are uploaded, no changes will be possible. So keep your files, projects and lab work in tip-top shape.

For class 10th:
There is some relief for class 10th students. Their practical or internal assessment exams will usually be conducted by the teachers of the school itself (Internal Examiners). No outside teacher will come. But this does not mean that you should be lax, because the marks will go to the board only.

Don’t make the mistake of hitting the holidays!

Often students think that “Hey, it’s a school exam only, we will give it later.” This time this thinking can put you in trouble.
According to the guidelines, students will have to be present on the scheduled date. if you Absent If you do, it is very difficult for you to get a second chance. Only if there is a medical emergency, the school will be able to request for re-exam, that too is a very complicated process.

Important tips for preparation:

1. Check Lab File: Make sure your file is signed by the teacher.
2. View Syllabus: The board has said that practicals will be conducted only from the given syllabus, nothing will be asked from outside.
3. Self-confidence: Don’t be nervous during Viva, external teachers only want to see your understanding, it is not their intention to fail you.
