The birth anniversary of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram is going to be historic this year in the grand temple of Ayodhya. Devotees often have darshan of the Lord’s Mukharvind, but in the scriptures there is no mention of Lord Shri Ram. ‘Lotus Feet’ (Lotus Feet) has been said to have special significance. Ankush (Elephant Goad): It provides the power to keep the intoxicated elephant of the mind under control.
Barley Grain: It is considered a symbol of happiness, prosperity and opulence.
Octagon: Indicator of protection and good fortune from all eight directions.
Apart from these, symbols like conch, chakra, mace, padma, swastika and umbrella also enhance the beauty of the feet of the Lord.
Ram Navami 2026: Auspicious time and worship method
Ram Navami this year 26 March (Thursday) Will be celebrated. The best time to celebrate the birth anniversary of God is considered to be midday (afternoon).
Navami tithi starts: From the night of 25 March.
Abhijeet Muhurat: From 11:17 am to 01:46 pm.
On the day of Ram Navami, anoint Ramlala with saffron water and offer sandalwood flowers at his feet while meditating on these 16 symbols. It is believed that by worshiping the feet on Ram Navami, one gets freedom from Pitra Dosh and Shani Dosh.
