News India Live, Digital Desk: The bugle for assembly elections 2025 in Bihar has not even been sounded yet, but swords have been drawn in the political arena. From Delhi to Patna, the war of words between the leaders has intensified, which has already raised the political temperature in the state. This time the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and RJD youth leader Tejashwi Yadav are face to face. There are sharp attacks from both sides on the issue of ‘Jungle Raj’ versus ‘Vikas’.

Amit Shah reminded ‘Jungle Raj’

Amit Shah, who is called ‘Chanakya’ of BJP, recently launched a strong attack on the Grand Alliance from the soil of Bihar. In his speech, he directly targeted the rule of Lalu Prasad Yadav and RJD and said that the people of Bihar have not forgotten that era of ‘Jungle Raj’. He alleged that if the grand alliance comes to power, the same old era of kidnapping, loot and corruption will return to the state. Shah said that the NDA government has worked to bring Bihar out of that dark period and on the track of development.

Tejashwi’s counterattack- “Give account of 10 years”

Tejashwi Yadav also retaliated without any delay on these allegations of Amit Shah. Tejashwi gave a direct challenge to Amit Shah and the Modi government at the Center and said that they should leave aside the old talk of ‘Jungle Raj’ and first give an account of their 10 years of work.

Tejashwi said, “You keep playing the same old cassette again and again. The people of Bihar now want to talk about development, employment, inflation and education. What did you give to Bihar in 10 years? You had promised special status, what happened to it? You had promised 2 crore jobs every year, where are those jobs?”

He further said that BJP has no vision for the future, hence it wants to get votes only by making people fear the past. Tejashwi claimed that the work done by his 17-month-long government was something that the NDA governments could not do even in 17 years.

What will happen next?

It has become clear from this war of words how tough the next assembly elections of Bihar are going to be. On one hand, NDA will make the face of Prime Minister Modi and the works of the Central Government as well as the fear of ‘Jungle Raj’ an issue, while on the other hand, the Grand Alliance under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav will seek votes in the name of employment, inflation and development of the state. Now it remains to be seen whose arguments the people of Bihar trust more.
